Description

The project participants will host a Webinar on Covid-19 and the South Asian State on 18 and 19 January 2023. There are three components to this seminar:

  1. The presentation of (preliminary) findings of the project by the project participants, based on field research in India and Sri Lanka;
  2. Papers on Covid-19, Crisis and the South Asian state in states not covered directly by the conference participants (Bangladesh, Nepal, Pakistan) or other regions from India (Bihar)
  3. A meeting involving practitioners.

Program of events

The seminar will be split into 3 separate parts, each held on Zoom:

  • Day 1 (18 January) – 1.30-3.40PM (8-11.10am GMT)
  • Day 1 - Roundtable with practitioners (18 January) 4.00-6pm (11.30-13.30am GMT)
  • Day 2 (19 January):  1.30pm-5.45 pm (8am-12.15pm)
